We are very sad about leaving Australia. We are on the plane right now going back to Alabama. Australia has been very fun and we have learned a lot. The food is very good and the people are very nice. The president will be very proud and happy that we went, especially because we bought him the Sydney Harbour key chain.We think that maybe we can go again in a few years, hopefully. This will be our last time to tell you about our trips but maybe you can post something about your trips. It makes us so sad to say this but, hoo roo Australia.

Our interview with Phil Berger

Today we will be having a interview with 47 year old Phil Berger.He has been living  in Australia almost 40 years. He moved because his dad got a job in the Sydney Opera House.Phil likes going to the Sydney Harbor to climb every week.He lives in Gold Coast.Phil likes to surf every Saturday.Phil likes to eat steak on the barbie.He likes going to the Kakadu National Park.Every Monday Phil goes to see his dad sing at the Sydney Opera House.He works as a farmer everyday he is not busy.He grows grapes and makes them into wine. He sells the wine in a shack beside his house.

Our trip to Australia





G’ day mate, we are so excited about visiting Australia. The president is sending some students to different islands. We, Kayleigh, Tessa, and De’Azya, are getting sent to Australia. We are on the plane right now.  We are going to learn many things, but here are some things we already know. Australia does not have a set language, but most of them speak English. The flag of Australia is on the right. It is very interesting and different from the American flag. Australia is located in the southern hemisphere. We are going to go in January, so it will be really warm there, because it is summer there. The population is about 22 million. I can’t wait to see all of those people, I think we will meet a lot of them, and they will be our friends. Some of the animals in Australia are koalas, platypi, wallabies, dingos, kangaroos, and some of the most venomous snakes in the world. We will love to see all those animals when we get there, maybe we can take a safari. We are so excited to be here now. The first thing we saw when we got off the plane was a kangaroo!
